Emilio Casias Navaira IV, 22, was arrested about 1 a.m. Saturday, jail records show.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated, and bail was set at $1,000. He bailed out shortly after, jail employees said.
Details about his arrest weren't immediately available this morning.
The elder Navaira suffered a life-threatening brain injury when he crashed the tour bus he was driving from a Houston club date March 23, 2008, and went through the windshield.
He pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and was sued by his then-bassist Ricardo Vega, who suffered an injured liver and a dislocated shoulder. Vega was awarded $94,428 in damages.
“I told him he's got to be careful because he doesn't want him to go through what I went through. I lost my bus and all that,” Navaira said. “I just want him to be careful and hope he learns (a lesson) for the best.”
The younger Navaira declined to comment. It was his first arrest, records show.
